    • I must agree with the above completely. I have been to the center several times with my children during times when the center was not busy and a different manager was on duty. My children (both...

  • Joules, if you go the the Frederick Maryland Online blog and scroll down the right sidebar, under "Sponsored Links" there's a link to Airport Xpress. They should be able to help you. Good luck!
  • Yup, tell Mitch (the owner) that Guy sent ya - http://www.xpressride.com/home
  • Thx, I did check out the Airport Xpress link. Even $65 (plus tip) is a lot of $$ to me. Maybe I'm just spoiled 'cuz I used to be able to take the subway to the airport (in Boston) for $1.50.
  • OH yes - nothing will be inexpensive. We don't exactly have public transportation that goes East of Frederick.

But... in case you drive to BWI.... we have found that the BEST place to park is in either the blue Fast Park Lot on W. Nursery or in the red Fast Park Lot on Elkridge Landing. Usually you have to be a frequent parker to use the red lot (it's about 1/2 mile closer) - but either lot is fantastic. The shuttle picks you up AT YOUR CAR, helps you with your luggage and when they take you back from the airport to the lot.... they take you TO YOUR CAR! No waiting at shuttle stops and lugging your bags down long aisles in the rain, snow, heat...

Plus if you go to their online site, you can print out a discount coupon that allows you to park for under $7/day. If you sign up for a free frequent parker card - you don't have to print out the coupon - you automatically get the cheaper rate. http://www.airportfastpark.com/main/baltimore.aspx

Oh....and when you leave the lot - they give you a free icy cold bottle of water - one for everyone in your car.

Once I discovered it, I NEVER used the airport shuttle again... I LOVE Fast Park. (Can you tell?)
